The Notary Hotel, Philadelphia, Autograph Collection

My husband and I stayed at this hotel because it is part of the Marriott collection. We do like the Marriotts. Everything we experienced here at the Notary has been outstanding. From the moment we arrived until we left. The valets, front desk and coffee service…… I especially want to mention Juan, who checked us in. He was very accommodating and tended to all of our needs. Juan deserves to be recognized because of his excellent customer service! Thank you Juan for a great experience!! Janice

Excellent location right by Reading Terminal for a lot of good eats and walkable to so many places to dine, drink and see. Great value for money. Love the historic but well maintained hotel.

The restaurant could probably up the menu offerings especially breakfast. Doesn't offer the same value as the hotel itself. Food seems too basic. They could also probably offer more amenities like a sauna or spa to go with the gym.

This hotel "may" have a great location and nice rooms, but do NOT stay here if you plan to use their valet service. The valet operation is an absolute disaster and has been for YEARS!. The staff is unresponsive, rude, and nearly impossible to communicate with. They never answer the phone, and during the week you’re better off parking in a garage two miles away and walking — you’ll still get your car faster. Expect to wait well over an hour, sometimes more, just to retrieve your vehicle. 1 person overnight (I understand) but most people are retrieving their cars between 5-7am and when you "2nd person" doesn't come in until 7am, you have failed! Management clearly doesn’t care, and the morning front desk crew is one of the laziest, most indifferent teams I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. Do better, Notary Marriott. Clean up your staff and take customer service seriously. I dread and will try to book ANYWHERE else during to their valet services.

Parking was expensive- property seemed a bit worn. Bar was limited.
