Air conditioning was leaking all over the floor. Told the front desk they said it was fixed and the next night same thing leaking and not cooling the room. Worst Hampton I have ever stayed at

Large water stains on ceiling including water damage in some areas. Room was otherwise clean though a bit dated. Very small sink, no counterspace to speak of. Breakfast was so-so. Staff was friendly.

First night we had to contact staff due to disturbances in the next room, but otherwise stay was peaceful. Breakfast was mediocre.

Weekend stay, breakfast starts at 7 am, we went about 7:45am, majority of breakfast food gone or minimal, no muffins or pastries, had to ask for coffee refilling on the big pots. Only 1 staff person for a Saturday morning, person was pulled in several directions (stocking, cleaning, etc). We have stayed in this particular Hampton Inn a few times, first time encountered the breakfast issue

This is NOT a $300/night room. This is a 2 star hotel and it shows. The lobby is tiny and everyone's business can be heard. The man in front of me was not treated well because he was not an Honors Member. The clerk's attitude changed when she saw that I was a Gold Member and suddenly became much nicer. The water bottles given out were warm when it would be easy to install a small cooler. Dining area very small. The atmosphere when walking in was that of a cheap motel. The whole place is very shabby, especially the rooms. Carpet squares that were peeling up. Walls with huge cracks. Obviously not well cleaned because we found garbage on the floor in the corner right next to the garbage can. This place charges way too much in points for the value. Most 3 star Hilton Hotels charge 30,000 points for a well appointed room. This room at the Muskegon Hilton, a 2 star, was 51,000 points. A rip off.

I love it here. Clean place, staff is really nice. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I was really comfortable here and felt safe. All my needs were met with a friendly smile.

Clean,quiet and a little outdated. Lots of stores and places to eat.
