Hotel is in a great location opposite the station. Smooth check in and a nice bright spacious and modern room. Comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was a busy affair as the fringe was on but food was of a good variety and quality. The hotel has some not so good points - the lifts were atrocious, took ages to arrive and were often out of order. Being opposite the train station, the hotel attracts unsavoury characters outside, especially at night. The hotel needs to do something about them sitting outside the entrance. When we were due to leave the doors had to be locked due to a fight outside. A safety issue. The hotel has good views over the city and is just around the corner from the main shopping area and attractions. The outdoor pool area is small but welcome. A spa was advertised but this appeared to be long gone.

The room was very comfortable and I had a nice window view as requested. The facilites were good although there was some confusion as to whether the water bottles were complementary or not. The reception staff member - Francheska - was attentive and professional, and sought her manager's advice about me not being aware of parking charges. Note too, there is a $100 pending fee charge, therefore factor that in your budget. Ovrerall, the hotel location was perfect for my visit to Adelaide.

The unexpected charge for a car park in the hotel garage at $30 per night. I always tick free parking when searching for accommodation on Booking.com, I was informed that this error while booking can be an oversight if not checking all details of the booking. I just had a look and I can't see where this is obvious. This was a disappointment as I had budgeted for my trip. Aside from this, the hotel was excellent.
