Mercury Apart Hotel

The receptionist was accommodating, the hotel and our room were very clean. The hotel was very close to the restaurants, Ocean Dr, and literally one block away from the beautiful beach

Place can be a bit cleaner and needs a 24hr attendant at the desk for safety.

Stayed at the Mercury for 5 nights in May 2022. The Mercury could have lots of potential with some TLC. The apartment was pretty good, could have been cleaner. Limited on clean towels, unless you happen to track down the cleaning ladies to exchange your towels. One bedroom with living room, kitchen, two bathroom sinks . Space was adequate. The pool area is dirty , water doesn’t look clean, area around pool is ignored. Smells like garbage often due to the garbage bins being right outside pool gate. The gate in the back alley beside the pool and garbage was open, therefore did not feel very safe as anyone can walk in from the alley. Cute little lounge that no one was in the 5 days we were there. Nice outside area …with some attention and care… would be great for guests to use, however the sign states only for people in Lounge. Community folding beach chairs beside the elevator were nice to use on beach. Overall good price for Miami Beach, quiet neighborhood of Southpointe, walkable to the main area of Ocean Drive ( between 5th-14th).

The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the lock code that was used to enter the room. Made everything way simpler.

The room was nice and comfy. The location made it easy to walk to beach, shopping, restaurants, & night-life. We did have some initial issues, but when I contacted someone they were kind and very responsive. We waited for towels and later switched to an upgraded room. This was great, but did eat up time in our day. We also initially expected a king bed, but our 1st room was a queen. When reviewing the room description I did notice the distinction of "request king," so a little misleading. In order to improve experience I would suggest having drinking water available on-site (paid, complimentary, or filter pitchers) we walked to CVS at 1 AM for water, as local grocers were closed. A kitchenette is going to need cooking utensils. Coffee machines should have filters or reusable pods. Rooms should all have a place to hang clothes (closet/rolling rack). We foundout near end of stay that the owners had changed and changes were taking place over time. Overall we had a enjoyed our vacation and hope with a little tweeking the vacation experience will be flawless.

Rooms/Hotel photos are not up to date. Run down and had to shower outside due to the hot water not really working. Staff were super friendly but it was hard to feel safe with no working door knob and an electronic lock. Didn’t go in pool because it looks like it hadn’t been cleaned like ever, and no pumps ran in the water. Overall was an ok stay but wouldn’t visit again or recommend. Lgbtq friendly

Great location and the property has great potential to become something really cool, but the common areas and the bedrooms/apartments are really dirty and bot in a good state. I suggest having a proper front desk to start with and clean the hallways at all times! They were super dirty with hairs and dust. The bedrooms are also dirty and not well maintained. The bathroom mosaic tiles are bad and there is no toilet paper or towels available. The communication with the property manager was also bad as he was never available and when we had a complain or request there was no one to talk with.

This place smells like smoke and was in horrible condition. Multiple stains everywhere and nothing was clean
