Mercury Apart Hotel

Pictures are inaccurate. There is mold present in all corners of the rooms. Stains on sheets, seemingly unwashed.

I was very happy with the location of the hotel, one block from the beach, and nearly you can find great restaurants and bars, but definitely they need to improve the cleaning. The swimming pool area was nasty, the floors at the lobby, the carpets everything was dirty and with black spots.

Very dated with plenty of damage around the room. Worst part was very bad odor inside. Noisy comming from adjacent rooms and outside.

This property is nicely located in the Southpointe area of Miami Beach. The room has a nice setup but it needs a deep cleaning. Also the shower door did not fully close, the toilet paper holder was missing, the blinds did not work, there was no hair dryer, there is an iron and ironing board.

Door to our room didn’t work properly, it wouldn’t lock or unlock, no cable tv — just a blank screen. People arguing non stop at night in the hallway, loud nosies like someone was wrestling or fighting the next room over, no breakfast, no cleaning ladies, pool was dirty — paid way too damn much for this dump. Very very disappointed in the quality we expected — don’t believe the photos online. Our room looked absolutely nothing like those photos they show online — money wasted.

This place is pretty rough. My room specifically was very dirty in check in. Stains on the sheets, dusty and dirty walls - all around falling apart. The bathroom specifically was disgusting, the shower had no curtain and drain clogged with hair and pieces of paper as well as having caked scum. Very weird amenities - again I had no shower curtain but two sinks two couches and two tvs. The closet had hangers taken from retail stores and then a random boogy board. I called to switch rooms. The phone number for the hotel is clearly someone’s cell phone, they called me back and said “who’s this” and I had to ask a question or two to confirm it was in fact the hotel. They said there may be one available but claimed the others were an upgrade - perhaps for being in nicer condition? Regardless no one got back to me about it. The location is nice and quiet although if you are looking for safety, it’s very easy to just walk in and the front desk seemed only occupied a few hours a day. It’s next to a night club so one evening I was a little worried about someone following me in. Overall I stayed safe though and didn’t run in to many guests. The doors have pin pads to open but no additional lock options.

I was so disappointed in the cleanliness of the hotel and our room. Then added in that our door wouldn’t lock when we were not in the room. Actually went and bought Clorox and paper towel to clean the entry doors to our hallway and our room. No one to check us out either. Called, and hit the Ring Door bell too. Ended up leaving a note.

Great location, fair price.

No housekeeping, bad customer service, no towels for pool, everything is old, includeing towels, sheets, everything is outdated, dirty, poor managment.

The property is in neglect regarding maintenance and care, it is basically falling apart, literally, the pool we did not even dare to enter. The location of the hotel is superb, with restaurants literally downstairs, which makes it very nice, but they have not bothered to give the hotel the necessary care, nor the necessary repairs. My little daughter, very naively thought that the apartment was in that condition because it was Halloween.
