Great location close to beach and other attractions. Was a pity we didn't get to meet Haluk during our short stay but Flora was a superb host. Handling all requests in a blink of an eye. The two dinners she prepared for us were top notch, especially enjoyed the grilled octopus she prepared on our first night 👌 👌. Flora also made all arrangements for our wedding vows renewal on the beach, even organizing a professional photographer. Thank you Haluk for hosting us at your establishment. You have real gems of staff. Hope to visit in the future.

* Screens & no windows so you hear some of the street noise. The Ravens start crowing early in the morning. Other than that everything was fantastic.

Great location only a short walk from the beach and some of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. Really good breakfast included in the rate & the menu provided for meals had plenty of tasty options. We went in the rainy season and still found plenty to keep us occupied with the help of the lovely staff. Shout out to Nana & Hakul, the owners, for their warmth, recommendations and great company. They, Flora & little Precious make this place a truly special spot to locate yourself while in Zanzibar.

Make sure you get the barbecue octopus! My partner declared it the best he’d ever tasted.

Close location to Daladala bus stop. The staff was really nice and flexible, and prepared to me a breakfast in the early morning since I had a scuba diving arrangement. The room was spacious enough.

The windows do not have a glass, only mosquito net and some grille, so it was extremely noisy day and night. Since the room has only fan no AC, it was really hot and humid when I was visiting. I clearly stated the departure time to the owner, and I don't know why he waited untill the last minute (I literally left the premise and he started to shout my name) to demand me to pay some local tax which I was not aware about since it was my first accomodation in ZNZ. His friends stared at me and they kept saying you had to pay, it is obvious, etc. Internet connection was not available at that time due to power outage, so I could not check. I don't know why the owner missed to mention that fact in advance, and moreover waited until last minute when I almost left. .
