Comfort Inn & Suites Kansas City - Northeast

Room was very cozy and met expectations.

There was homeless in the bushes behind the building that lead to a prior assumption of the property.

I loved that there was a variety of food for breakfast! The staff was nice as well.

We paid over $300 for a two night stay. Part of getting a hotel with a pool and paying so much money is to be able to swim. The pool is currently not working. And in our room specifically there was mold on the ceiling or water stains and the mirror was falling off the wall.there were no extra sheets for the pull out bed so I had to go downstairs to get them. There was a pillow but no sheets.

It was great being able to reserve a room without having to pay first. That would have been a bit difficult while driving. The staff was cheerful, friendly, and efficient. The room was clean, nicely decorated and welcoming. Getting a "handicapped" room was a blessing. Being on the 1st level and not having to walk far made a huge difference. There was adequate parking and enough luggage carts to make getting us and all our belongings easy to maneuver.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired. It was difficult to find the margarine/butter. When a staff found it for us, (in the refrigerator, instead of next to the items you would use them on), it was nearly unusable because it was frozen. The egg bites were rubbery and there was no breakfast meat, such as bacon or sausage. I wound up settling for yogurt and my husband wound up with a waffle with frozen butter. There was no one attending to the food. We had to get the receptionist to help us. The brightly shining sun revealed a few very dusty table tops.

I was here for one night and had a nice stay. My room was clean and comfortable. The location is right off I-435, so although it's a bit outside of the city center, it's easy to get to wherever you need to go in Kansas City.

It was a very nice place.

The only issue we had was that the room had a bad smell to it. I was too tired to go back down to the front desk and let them know.

The hotel is just pretty rundown and in need of a refresh. When we got there there was only one girl at the front desk and she was dealing with an issue in a room and it took 15 minutes for her to come back and check us and another family in. It was not her fault, and she was very apologetic, but they were clearly short staffed. The room was fine, the shower made a really loud whistling sound the entire time and the refrigerator ran really loudly. All of it was fine until we got in the bed and there was a two foot hole in the mattress where the springs had separated. It was a king thankfully and we were able to squish together, but it was just a really rundown hotel.

It was a lovely experience, i’m staying for a few weeks and i got to see all the improvements in breakfast, cleaning, housekeeping organized pretty well, i recommend this hotel in particular
