Texan Hotel

We got to the hotel and it was like a ghost town. You had to stand outside at a window with a phone to talk in because the front door was locked. So, strange! You can tell the rooms had not been used in a long time. There were dead bugs in the bathroom on the bathroom floor and in the shower. The water pressure was terrible.

It was clean and smelled good when I opened the door.

AC stopped working second day of visit had to moved rooms and the ac stopped working the next day

convenience to downtown and south padre island drive. pleasant staff and quiet area. always accommodate my needs.

The staff is GREAT! Near some good food places!

The room smelled horrible, kinda like cat urine. I always wipe down the room and spray deodorizer we left and came back a few hours later thinking it would smell better but it didn’t. My husband went and told the management and they put us in a new room much better.

Very cozy location with exceptional lighting in the rooms. The beds were very comfortable and overall a quiet location.

The AC didn’t really cool the entire room off, but enough for it to stay comfortable.

Room was clean and great value.

Having to wait for staff outside to check in and out.
