The Hackett Hotel

Since the property in only has 5 rooms it seemed very exclusive. The room was comfy and we were in town for a concert that was happening.on the same property so it was super convenient. It's definitely not set up for anyone with walking difficulty. There were 40 steps and no elevator. I would definitely stay there again. We loved it.

Nice small hotel connected to restaurant and concert venue. No front desk, you check in at the bar and check in was easy but not till 3. No early check in. Everyone was very friendly, and room was very nice . If you are staying here and want peace and quiet, make sure you check if there is live music before your stay. I chose this strictly for the live music . Really cool place all in all.

The property was very nice and the rooms were very comfortable and clean.The only down side is that all of the rooms are on the 3rd floor and 43 steps is a long way to haul your suitcase and other things up the stairs.The description did Not mention this on the Orbitz site.I have a bad knee and it was pretty hard to get up the steps.

We ended up really enjoying our stay. The room was very comfortable. The check-in experience was very strange because it was over a holiday and there was no-one to help us - the was not something we realized would be the case when we booked the room. We were only given a number to contact "for emergencies." The listing on Travelocity had not been updated to say that the room would only have a walk-in shower, not a bath, and the sink was not draining well. We would likely consider staying here again, but would not do so through Travelocity, or over a holiday weekend.

My husband and I stayed here for a little weekend getaway for our 2nd year anniversary and we loved the hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Bar is right below and had really good food too. All in all a great place to stay.

We were in town for a wedding and The Hackett was conveniently located to all the activities. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable. The steps to the third floor is the only drawback, but not enough to lower my rating of this hotel! We will be back again!

this is a gorgeous old historic building with old world charm but modern bathroom. Good air conditioning. It is attached to the Adelphi’s music venue as well as a great restaurant The price is affordable and the bed was phenomenal particularly the sheets and pillows

Check in with the bartender at The Galley. Room is spacious and building was surprisingly quiet. Came for a few local wine tastings and enjoyed the river walk and local shops, too.

Really enjoyed our stay. Simple and unique check-in (the bar tender in the restaurant checks you in and takes you to your room). Enjoyed the accommodations in this updated 1899 building. Close to both rivers and easy to walk around the downtown area.
