Amazing location and great accommodations
We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom Villas, it had all the amenities you need and very spacious! The view of the river and large space out back was great!
I enjoyed my stay in the cabin. It was clean and everything worked. Staff working at the property were very kind and helpful. I realized on arrival that the river pictures were not from my cabin. This cabin was maybe 30-40 yards from the bank of river and on a part of the river that is still water (no rocks/small rapids). Also, I didn’t realize how large the property is. It’s beautiful, but not walkable. I had a 15 minute drive to the rec center. Rec center is as pictured. I was looking for a quiet get away and this cabin definitely provided that. I saw more deer than people, which was awesome!
This is a wonderful place to stay. Everyone is so helpful and checking in with Debbie is always a job. She goes above and beyond to make your stay awesome.
Nice setting and community but villa was dated and had a musty smell. Overall enjoyed the stay.
It was great!! The property is beautiful with deer everywhere! The cabin itself was fantastic with everything you could need.
Cabin was nice and had everything we needed. Only downside was the long, curvy narrow roads to get to the cabin. Hard to get back to your cabin at night when it is dark, until you get used to where your cabin is. Other than that, a nice stay.
The Villa was nice and clean. The bed mattress had a hole in the middle. I didn't notice but my wife said it sucked her downhill towards me all night(I sleep soundly). The only other gripe is that trees blocked much of the view of the river; disappointing. But the deck overlooking the trees next to the river was outstanding, and we still had a great time.
We stayed at the "Villa" on the river. Overall, our place was really nice. It was clean and had everything we needed. My only complaints were that the sheets were polyester. I can't sleep or wear polyester because it actually burns my skin. I had to go out and buy a cotton blanket to sleep in and put a t-shirt around a pillow. The little single bed is really hard but the main queen bed is nice. There is also a little trundle mattress under the single bed. I am not sure that there is room to pull it out all of the way, but it would be convenient if you need it. I also think that they ought to have salt and pepper in the cabins. We left a little laundry detergent and ketchup packages in the drawers for the next person should they need it. I don't know if it will be allowed to stay.
I didn't really like anything all that much. There was a firepit that we used to roast hot dogs & make smores in the evening. That's about the only good thing about the whole stay. The cabin i stayed at needs some serious updates. Living room furniture is old & uncomfortable. You can hear every noise throughout the cabin. The TV needs to be in every room in my opinion & the one in the living room needs to be larger. Check in process was good. Arcade room was fun for the kids. Didn't like how close the cabins were to each other.
