The Villas at Coosawattee River Resort

Absolutely wonderful weekend escape!!!!

I planned a trip to visit Georgia with my boyfriend and this villa turned out to be the perfect location. We were right along the river and had a screened porch on the back to relax by the water. The villa was spacious and had a gas fireplace. We were able to log into our account on the Roku to watch a movie at night. I would highly recommend this place for a long term stay as the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed did seem more like a full than a queen but it was comfortable.

Location is a wee bit far from the main road. Overall we loved our stay!!!!! Great views!!!! Loved the wildlife!!!! Wonderful customer service!!!! Thanks Amy I the office!!!

It was great. This is the 2nd time I have been there and loved it both times. We loved watching the deer on the sides of the road when leaving and returning to the Villa where we stayed. Friendly people checking us in and giving directions on how to get to the Villa, also can use your navigation to get to where you are going, great places to visit while you are staying in Coosawattee, visit Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, small towns in the mountains. Did not want to come back home.

I had some trouble Finding my condo/cabin. It is very far back - just needed to know that was the case. Also I think there is some Type of block on the TV after a certain time I tried to turn it up and it would not go higher

Villa 6E. Some of the online pictures are from other units. This unit was more outdated than the pictures imply, so our first impression upon arrival was disappointment. Musty smell throughout. Also, this unit is right next to a road and a metal bridge that sounds like a gunshot followed by a rattling door every time a vehicle crosses it. Backyard is muddy after rain. WiFi is painfully slow - can't stream video or work remotely. TV service is old school cable with program listing on channel 9. Second bedroom is literally a twin bed touching walls on 3 sides - inappropriate for anyone but a young child. Master bedroom is fine. View of river from padded furniture on covered porch was the best thing about the place.

Was difficult getting the code to enter the gate. Roads were not safe. Landscaping was not great. The stove was horrible, bedroom tv did not power on. However we felt safe and comfortable during our stay and for the most part it was clean

We had 5 little kids and 5 adults on this family getaway. There was a indoor pool, putt putt, arcade, showers, playground, tennis, basketball right outside our backdoor. The kids loved it. Kitchen was nice and enough beds for everyone. But we did bring a blow up mattress and there was plenty of room for that as well. Lots of things nearby to go to. My son got a massage while I shopped. We didn't get to tub this time but we will next time. My third time staying here and I will be back!

This was the 2nd time staying at the same cottage at this location and this time things were a lot different. The cottage was not clean, there was long hairs all over the floor and the bathroom had the same soft spot I reported in Feb, 2021. The toilet was not cleaned, and the water was brown like old urine. I bring my own cleaning supplies on every trip and needless to say, I had to clean the entire cottage before I let me family unpack. The beds are still hard as a rock. We stayed in cottage 68 Fife Villa Court.
