The villas was awesome! But YOUR communication lacked, horribly! I couldn’t get ahold of anyone to find out the code to get in or the Villa we we’re in! The poor people (that were closed, had to use an emergency number!) at the villas we’re so confused and so was I!
I likedd tge location . The size of the Villa. The luving roon couch wad wore out nit comfortable to sit on. Tge beds wrre fomfortable but sweaked terribly just to sit on. Could just use a little updating fir the price they charge.
I would definitely return. Check-in was easy. The kids felt at home. There were a few hiccups, but honestly, everyone was so friendly and kind, that the small stuff did not matter. The sites of the area are breathtaking. The property has lots of beautiful deers! I wish we stayed longer. Amy was kind and understanding.
Plenty of space and a good value
There were so many deer and they walk up to the villas. Beautiful. The place could use some updating, but it was very clean and that is priority for me.
The recreation center is not on the same compound. There is a map but it does not provide key landmarks or streets or directions to the Rec center. I tried to find it three times with no luck. Really put a damper on things for the kids. Zero WiFi and service where we stayed. Great location and the actual place was great. The land is great and very scenic. The river was awesome!!
Different style of stay, not for everyone. This resort/residential area is HUGE. The map given after registering didn't help much...I wish they would have given us a pin for Google maps (ok...the map was terrible). Some units are closed to the registration office...ours was about 10 minutes away in a windy road. The cabin had everything you needed (except for communication if that's important to you...more on this later). The good - great place to get away. Everything you need is right there (bring ice and firewood before you arrive). My unit was old, but right on the river. Great sights and sounds deom wildlife. My unit was comfortable for just 3 people. Great balcony and living room (bring board games). The bad - Internet only available outside the cabin in a specific spot. TV depends on internet...so good luck (no big deal if your family doesnt needs any of those 2). Cell phone signal is 1/10, so if you neee to be reachable, you may not want to stay here. Can definitely use more ice buckets. The rec center (pool) is hard to reach...in fact, I never found it. If you want to get away with the safety of a residential neighborhood, stay here. But if you need to stay connected and your kids need internet, i would look for another place. Again, my cabin was located 10 minutes away in a narrow and windy road around steep hills...keep that in mind if you are not comfortable driving in those conditions. Cool place, but not for us.
Our cabin (We stayed in an A frame villa by the river) was lovely. Check in was easy and they were super friendly. I can’t speak for the other villas in other areas of the resort (they’re all pretty spread out) , but ours was clean and right by the river. We did play miniature golf, which is located right next to the glass enclosed pool.
