Vrahos

It's always excellent here! The staff is so lovely and I always feel welcomed (especially as traveling on my own as a woman). I have a house on one of the nearby island and this is ALWAYS the place I stay at between my flight and ferry. The water (0.1min from the hotel) is beyond dreamy (great for snorkeling!!) And food/cocktails are excellent. I brought my mom and sister here too who loves it and said as well they feel very safe:) I've stayed here probably 10 times for the past 2 years and it's my first choice everytime:):) no need to stay anywhere else and the rooms are great and clean:):)

Location is perfect. Right on the beach, in centre of Kardamena. Room with basic amenities but thats what we wanted and needed. Clean, spacious with amazing view from balcony and staff that went beyond for anything we needed!

The location is great and the fact it has a bar and Restuarant downstairs is good

Rooms are very basic, long electric cable running through the shower room. Downstairs bar and Restuarant closed on two nights of our 3 night stay.

Great location, good free aircon, comfy beds, plenty of towel changes and room cleaning done daily. The sunbeds on the beach are free to customers. The drinks and snacks in the bar downstairs are very good (the beer was the best we had in the town} The little supermarket opposite has everything you need and is quite reasonable. Gregs bar next door is brilliant and has Karaoke most nights.

The bar downstairs that serves the sunbeds plays very loud BOOM BOOM drum and bass music all day and never varies, this makes relaxing on the sunbeds impossible if this is not your thing, and yes we and other guests asked for it to be turned down or changed but to no avail, the staff are playing the music for themselves. The wooden walkways and steps into the sea were only put in place on the day we were leaving so no direct access into sea from the sand because of very slippery rocks.

We had the corner room with two balconies, one sees the beautiful sunrise, the other looks out to sea, this was the best thing about the property. It is a spacious room (though it has a very small bathroom). It is very conveniently located to everything, though as we visited at the start of the season not much was open yet, including the cocktail bar below.

As we were the first to stay for the season, the whole place was not clean. Even the bathroom sink was full of dust. We weren’t provided with soap for the bathroom, I found some in the store room! Only a kettle and cups in the room, no tea/coffee… We bought some, so not the end of the world but I would say the price we paid for the room, did not really reflect the state of things. I’m sure once they open properly it will be better. The room has a ‘dressing table’ mirror but could perhaps use a full length one. They were very responsive via WhatsApp and came quickly to fix the safe when we couldn’t reopen it!

We had a lovely stay in Vrahos. The room is well equipped and has a fridge, comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. The location was perfect and the sea views stunning. The host (Paris) was very friendly and helpful!

In the night time there is lots of noise from outside. Even with the windows closed you can hear the music and people.
