RSAM Beach Resort by Cocotel

The beach and location were good.

The rooms, small in kneed of an upgrade the restaurant coul not supply food on 2nd night had to cut stay short by 2 evenings very poor.

the pool looks so much bigger in the pictures... hahaha

I liked that it was quiet and perfect for families. Our room was clean and ready as soon as we checked-in. It had a water heater and a bidet. The pool was ok, would’ve preferred bigger pool. Water was warm. The beach had fine brown sand, water was always low-tide. It was not crowded at all! Restaurant available, though limited choices. Price range was ok.

Room was a bit old, AC not as cold as I would hVe wanted. Bathroom had a distinct sewage smell. Only dry clothes in the restaurant though it’s right next to the pool. It would’ve been great if we could swim and eat.

Second time in the property and enjoyed again

Area is relaxing and a good resort to bring friends or family.

Pool area and covered dining areas were good plus right on beach with good security

Old air-conditioner in room was extremely loud and was not adjustable. No fans as an option. Bed matress was hard foam and not very comfortable.

Friendly staff. Easy check in but requires printout of booking confirmation. It would be nice to check in paperless. Pool area is nice and we enjoyed the swim. Front beach area lots of small drift woods and unclean so unsafe to swim. They said they clean them in the morning but around afternoon they should clean them again as they accumulated. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

1. Nice bed 2. Food and Drinks prices are reasonable 3. The staffs are friendly.

1. No hot shower. 2. No celphone signal. Wifi is very weak. 3. The restaurant is hot. There is no electric fan. 4. Even if you book for an overnight stay. You need to pay for the cottage. My husband tried to negotiate because we paid for 4 rooms and both liquor from their restaurant. Note that you cannot drink on the restaurant and the rooms. 5. The beach is dirty. 6. Breakfast is served 7am. Some of us been waiting as we are awake 6am. 7. The beach gate is open 6am. Difficult to have a morning stroll. 8. The resort needs full renovation.
