Nothing to be liked

The property was extremely cold inside, the AC was working only in one floor. There was dust everywhere and the property did not reply either our calls or messages. We had to leave the appartment and went to the hotel.

Absolutely adored our stay here. Traditional Kyoto home, stunning timber doors and windows, with super comfortable bedding. Perfect little Japanese garden was illuminated of a night time and provided such a beautiful atmosphere in the private bathroom. Great kitchen, ample space for our family of four, including 2 kids aged 10 and 11. They adored the traditional building, stunning open ceiling with beams and paper sliding doors. Clean linen and towels. Basic kitchen ware, but everything we needed. Washing machine was super handy. Very quiet part of town. Easy and short walks to bus and train stops. Lots of lovely little shops, eateries and services nearby. Entry and communication from the host was simple and easy. Was situated across from the incredible Sanjūsangendō Temple, if staying here, you MUST make time to explore the temple and its beautiful gardens.

A little bit away from the action of downtown Kyoto, but plenty around to explore close by and was easily accessed by public transport.

縁側から鏡張りのお風呂の中を見ることが出来るので、嫌な気持ちをする人がいるかもしれないと思った。だけどお風呂は広々と出来るので、良かったです。

Clean, cozy, and fully equipped! We had a wonderful stay. The environment is peaceful and perfect for relaxing with family and friends. Great value for money. The host provided clear and easy-to-understand check-in/out procedures via Booking.com messages, which gave us total peace of mind. After a long drive to Kyoto, this was exactly what we needed. There is a coin parking lot just 3 minutes away, and the host was kind enough to provide information on 3 nearby parking options. Everything was perfect for our family trip. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Kyoto. Highly recommended!

過ごしやすく快適でした。

良くない点といいますか、少しだけキッチン周りの道具がもう少し豊富だと有難いなと感じました。ですが十分に調理はできました。 もう一点あげるとすればカトラリーの数が5セットで揃っていないものがあり苦戦しました。
