Malmaison Edinburgh City

The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The decor was not to our taste.

Malmaison is in a wonderful position to get around Edinburgh with ease. The hotel is well decorated with comfortable sitting spaces, bar and dining room. But most of all the staff are amazing. Dara leads the front desk and all the staff went above and beyond in being helpful and friendly. I found the professional friendly atmosphere very welcoming. I highly recommend Malmaison

Very unique room, especially with bath in the main area.

The door to the bathroom is see through....who on earth designed that? If you go with a partner, you dont want to be able to see them on the toilet. Although the glass is slightly tainted, you can easily see inside....very strange and disappointing

Great visit for an Afternoon Tea! Rohan and Mac were brilliant taking care of us, Rohan even tried to get another chair for my mum who has back pain, she couldn’t get comfortable in booth we were in. Food was amazing, will need to get back for half price steak deal they have on at the moment. Thanks very much guys

Location is absolutely incredible. Immaculate inside and out. High standards in appearance and service. Food delicious and fresh. Every interaction I had with a staff member from front desk, to restaurant, to porters was a positive one. Well done!

I’m not a huge eccentric decor fan, but they have done it in a tasteful way that’s not too overstimulating.

We went for the Sunday Lunch at the Chez Mal restaurant in Edinburgh City where Fraser attended to us. He was wonderful throughout our visit, very attentive and provided thorough detail as we had two people with allergens. We were always met with a smile and nothing was too much. Service 10/10!! The food was also beautiful and very tasty, it was our first time visiting and we definitely plan to return. Thank you to Fraser for making the experience even better.

My daughters and I had Sunday lunch at Malmaison Edinburgh City today. Fraser was wonderfully attentive to us throughout our visit. The food and service were excellent. We will be back!

Fraser was a great host and waiter, very attentive and genuinely delivered a fantastic service. The food was superb, so much so that we talked about arranging another meal. I had the roast sirloin which was delicious - the veg in particular was perfect.
