Bathroom in a very small area. Sink faucet was loose so it was two hand operation. No hand soap was provided for the hand washing sink. Overall location was good, staff was courteous.

The hotel was close to the Clock Tower where we would meet for the tours. That made it very convenient. Our biggest issue was the noise at night and the small bathrooms.

This was an affordable option within the walled city. However the room was much smaller than I imagined and there was no soundproofing. If you are not staying up until 2:00-3:00 am and like to sleep this place may not be for you. Sounds like the other guests were in our room and hearing other have sex is an awkward experience. Some street noise, but mainly from the other guests. No window in the room was a surprise as well.

"My Ethnic Thematic Hotel review "

I found the Ethnic Thematic Hotel to be a well run hotel. The location was close to everything. The wi-fi signal was strong. The bathroom was small and the shower was tiny and the water never got hot. The water was warm but not hot. The room was cleaned daily. The room safe was large enough to fit my laptop and it's operation was interesting. The room had a refrigerator. The TV stations were local so there were no English speaking stations. Breakfast was a 1.5 block walk and I found the breakfast fulfilling. There is a sister hotel in Bocagrande that has a pool and is available for your use. I enjoyed my stay there and I would recommend this hotel.

Our room facing street. The music from road side stall started 10pm all the way to 8am !!!!we totally cannot sleep …. If you are light sleeper. I suggest you request inner room maybe quieter. As hotel located in the heart of old town …. Was trying to seek help to lend the computer. The answer is NO !! We felt it’s over price with the value that we paid.
