Room is small but comfortable and they change your sheets and towels every day. Staff is great and friendly

I couldn’t stay in the room. A very strong scent of black mold was present. I checked in, got my access card and room key, looked in the room, and after smelling mold, I never went back until the day before checkout, where I checked out early so I wouldn’t have to go back there the same day of my returning flight to the United States. You can verify with the people working. They will confirm that I never stayed/slept there. Records on the fob access card will also show that it was never used either. I am highly allergic to mold and it was impossible for me to stay in the room. I told the female receptionist when I checked out the reason (mold) why I was not able to stay there.

Im only use the property to sleep since i had many activities daily for about 14 hours. It did its purpose, only local news channels on TV. Breakfast was included but had to walk 1 block to ge it. Pretty safe. Decent price, but i know there are similar around cheaper.

The location of the property is good but the areas around not to much, staff is excellent and property is good to the price.

This tiny hotel (and I mean tiny lol) is actually in one of the BEST locations within the walled city! Right outside its doors is ALL of the hustle and bustle of this historic part of Cartagena. Everything is within walking distance (the clubs, bars, restaurants, KFC, Subway restaurant, currency exchanges, ATMs etc). On the inside of the hotel it is relatively quiet BUT the rooms away from the street are like little prison cells meaning NOW WINDOWS! So it's a tiny room with a tiny bathroom, a bed, a tv (with no cable lol) and a functioning AC unit (thankfully). The in-room safe is just for show as it doesn't work. If u are in room 7 or 8 you will be disturbed by the front desk persons' conversations as that are is literally in front your doors. So if they are on the phone or playing their music or have friends hanging with them it will be like they are in your room hanging with u! If u are a light sleeper, this hotel is NOT for u. Also there is basically no privacy. U cannot lock your door from the inside. It locks when u close it but anyone having a key can just open it and enter as the door chain doesn't work lol Anyone outside will also hear everything going on in your room. So in summary, it's a clean hotel (except for the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke left in the room by previous guests), ok staff, some of whom speak ENG. No elevator only stairs. Strong wifi but it went down on my last day there and never came back so that sucked.

I loved the wall art. The room was dated and the frudge worked sometimes. I did not like the bathroom. It was very small. Other than that, the location and staff were great.
