"Delayed check-in, poor service, mediocre overall"

I wasn't able to check-in until nearly 5pm, and the check-in staff was rude about it. During my wait in the lobby for my room to be ready, I posted a negative review regarding the late check-in. That prompted hotel staff to reach out to me, offering some Hilton points. They're not worth much, but I thought at least it's something. However, it's been more than a week since I checked out and no points were credited to my account. I've now called the hotel twice to ask about this and they haven't done it. This is a worse than average Hilton jammed full of tourists waiting for cruise ships and convention goers who didn't stay at the Omni, which is nicer and doesn't require walking under a major overpass to get to the convention center.
