Location. Small discount on meals at Le Relais, although it was not 10% as the voucher stated.

Saggy mattress. Thin pillows. Steep stairs. Self check-in. No maid service. No soap dispenser in shower/tub.

Le prix de la chambre (236$ incluant les taxes) vs la qualité de l'hébergement: c'est sur-évalué pour la qualité d'hébergement. Rien d'exceptionnel, confort passable du matelas; cependant, la qualité de l'entretien ménager est au rendez-vous.

The location in the center of town was perfect! So easy to walk to the bookstore/cafe and other local shops. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Antique furnishings added to the charm. And it is attached to the Relais Cafe for great meals.

The Auberge is an older building so people should not expect updated, modern facilities. We were fine with the antique furnishings. It would have been nice to have a microwave, but there was one in a common room down the hall. People need to be aware there is a long flight of stairs to the actual hotel and no elevator.

Quaint

This historic auberge is in the center of the town of Knowlton. It is close to cafes and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a long porch across the front and a common room for coffee or games. We had a wonderful time.

The balcony! We had a lovely dinner out there, in the wonderful sunshine. Gorgeous flowering baskets. We also enjoyed the bright breakfast room, that was a bonus.

We didn't appreciate the stairs - it is hard hauling everything up, at my age! Thankfully, there was someone at the desk in the morning to help us get it all down. I didn't see anything identified as an accessible parking spot. In the room, there was a little drop of a few inches from the bedroom to the bathroom - it should have been better marked. I missed it once and almost fell. My friend missed it several times. Especially in the night-time. Dangerous.

Difficult to find outlets for charging near me in bed. No elevator so difficult on the stairs with bad knees.
