the position and the hostel itself were amazing. it's welcoming and clean.

the rooms could be more furnished. I had some problems with the check in since they didn't send me a clear email telling me where to go to take the keys

3500 ISK extra for a duvet is crazy

Location of the property is great, with several restaurants close by as well as walking distance to the supermarket. I was the only person there so had the run of the place, but it was a good property.

The only thing I didn't know was the need to pay for a blanket, the hostel is a sleeping bag hostel so you will need to pay for a blanket if you're coming without a sleeping bag, outside of that nothing.

It was a hostel - a bed in a room. The common area was nice with a great view. The bathrooms were nice and clean.

Having to hump bedding in addition to our gear from check in to the hostel was not ideal. Other residents were quite loud late at night but that is difficult to control.

Great location. Great staff. Hostel was good value for what you get. Would recommend!

Check-in was a bit confusing. Didn't read the email thoroughly though: make sure you check in at the hotel before going to the hostel.
