Stairs and hallway were filthy. No coffee in room or even reception - you had to go across the street.

Great location, downstairs bar with drink specials, friendly & helpful staff.

Narrow hallways & stairs only (historic art deco building, so to be expected), overwhelming smell of cleaning products in common areas

I knew the hotel was a old building but I wasn't expecting what I got. The rooms are really small. The two double beds leave no room for suitcases, the is no real closet just a hanger bar in a open space. Nowhere to put any close. The advertised satellite tv is not accurate. The tv got 6 channels, no local or national news. Discovery and Nickelodeon. Tried to take a shower and there is no hot water. I was told give it time, it is an old building. While waiting for the maintenance man, 25-30 minutes, hot water finally came out. The old saying, one pays for what they get. Might be applicable here, except the room wasn’t inexpensive, I wasn't expecting the Ritz, but was expecting what was advertised.

During our stay at this hotel in Miami, water started coming from the ceiling because a person staying above us had left the bathtub running — it was a real flood. We couldn’t sleep because there was constant coming and going while they tried to fix the situation, which is understandable. However, the hotel told us that we could not change rooms and that they would fully refund us if we stayed in that damp, water-filled room. Surprise! They now refuse to refund us. On top of that, they tried to claim that we had booked our stay through another website to avoid refunding us, only to later admit, “Oops, yes, you did book through us,” but still say they would not refund us anyway. Now I understand why the receptionist asked us upon arrival to leave a 5-star review so we could get our room faster! Simply scammers. Avoid this place — there are plenty of great hotels nearby. PS: This is the first negative review I’ve written in 44 years, so that should tell you a lot.

Alloggiai in questo albergo per il capodanno del 2010/2011 e avevo mantenuto un piacevole ricordo: piccolo e raccolto come una pensione della riviera romagnola a gestione familiare. Quando sali le scale è una piacevolezza sentire scricchiolare il parquet sotto i piedi, un valore di autenticità e particolarità: molto lontano dall'idea di hotel internazionale e spersonalizzato che si può trivare in qualsiasi parte del mondo. Qui assapori veramente l'atmosfera di Miami. È un tipico hotel in stile art decò degli anni '30, quindi gli spazi sono ristretti, così le camere, specie per una famiglia di 4 persone, adatto per poche notti. Posizione centralissima: affaccia sulla Collins che è la parallela a Ocean Drive, in 4 passi sei al mare. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottima.

Camera un pochino stretta per una famiglia di 4 persone, spazio più adatto per 2. Migliorare un pochino la pulizia delle camere: non amo molto la moquet, anche se negli Usa, è molto utilizzata.
