Club Quarters Hotel Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia

My husband stayed at this hotel from May 27 to May 31/2026 and, unfortunately, what should have been a simple issue turned into weeks of frustration due to the hotel’s complete lack of communication. Before checking out, he specifically asked the front desk not to accept a package if it arrived after his departure. The staff assured him this had been noted, and he also sent the same request by email. Despite these clear instructions, the hotel accepted the package the following day. Since then, we have sent multiple emails and received no response. I spoke with the Manager on Duty on the evening of June 8, who asked me to send an email with the details, which I did. On June 18, I spoke with Matthew at the front desk, who again advised me to send an email. We have now sent more than six emails and still have not received a single response. The package remains in the hotel’s possession and has significant value. The issue is no longer the package itself, but the complete lack of communication and accountability. Mistakes can happen, but ignoring a guest for weeks while holding their property is unacceptable. We sincerely hope this review finally prompts hotel management to contact us and help resolve this matter.

Hotel was nice, room was mostly clean upon arrival, could have been better. My only other complaint was the streaming service was down so we were stuck picking from the 20 some channels on tv.

The location was perfect. Convenient to all the historical sites. If you are coming from the airport, the hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the Regional Train. The tickets were very affordable. There are several restaurants in the area. If you like Philly Cheese Steak, Giovanni's is the place! It on Chestnut St. The hotel itself; clean rooms, large bottles of shower wash and shampoos! (The good kind) :) The staff members were outstanding. My only complaint is the Milk foam machine wasn't working, which I noticed other complained about that as well. However there was plenty of creamers available. If you like to shop, there's several stores available; Nordstrom Rack, the Mall, J.Crew, several vintage shops, Sephora ,and more! And most importantly a few Star Bucks in walking distance. We enjoyed Philly and we are making plans to visit again. I would stay at Club Quarters again!

Mirror was falling off the wall. Staff had to come to reattach it to the wall. No hot water..it was barely luke warm. View out the window is cigarette butts on a miserable room. Really bad.

Cute renovated hotel right in City Center! Conveniently located and they let me check in late when my plane was delayed. Perfect room for just me traveling solo!
