Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Biltmore

I like the location and the vintage 80s vibe of the inside atrium.

The rooms had been remodeled at some point, but they forgot to get rid of the popcorn ceilings. Which is probably why the room smelled like a smokers den. Heater did not work in room, room was 66° and we were not accommodated to change a room.

Given my experience, the Embassy Suites Biltmore is an excellent choice for a special event. Unique qualifications: For larger gatherings, people tend to want to congregate in the lobby or lobby bar area. While many hotels certainly have nice lobby areas, it is hard to top the atrium. They call it a tropical atrium, and with its high ceiling and pond, it creates a great ambiance. There are several “round tables” that allow several guests to sit together. Abby, the Catering and Events Manager, was terrific. From first contact, she had the answers and offered the right guidance at key junctures. Leslie made sure the booking block was easily accessible for our group. We used the Camelback Room. Large, versatile and it backs right up to the pool area. Terrific setting. On the day of the event, and even the day before, Gloria, banquet director, made herself available for questions and met to help plan, “We could do this a few different ways. We can have the food / bar here, or split them, or there, etc.” She was genuinely interested in creating a good result, and was very warm and helpful. When the hot and cold hors’ devours were set to serve, they were beautifully presented. We had many out of town visitors. The hotel is in a great, central location – Ubers / Lyfts are reasonable in Phoenix, and the hotel is a generally a short trip to the airport, but do be mindful of rush hour traffic when planning. Old Town Scottsdale is 6 miles away, or about a 15 minute Uber. Some of our group enjoyed that side trip. Isaac, Isaiah and Lupita, also worked hard. I received help with I.T. – laptop to projector, a wireless microphone display tables, and they allowed us to bring in an outside cello and electric piano, and helped us with positioning. Embassy Suites Biltmore were patient with all my questions, and made every step a smooth part of a memorable experience. It was pleasing to receive notes from attendees afterwards to compliment me on how well done the event was.

I didn't like that my name was reversed. I was listed as Sanders as my first name and dawn as my last . It took me 2 hours to straighten everything out. I was just told they had no record . I was told to call the booking agency. The woman at the desk didn't even try to help.

Very disappointed with this hotel. Check-in started great thanks to a friendly guy with curly hair, but everything went downhill. Our toilet didn’t flush, the bartender during the free drinks hour was rude and overwhelmed, and housekeeping never cleaned our room even after multiple requests. I had to ask THREE times for shampoo and towels. They sent me a text asking me about my stay and I replied back that the employees have an attitude. When I went to the front desk and asked why my room wasn’t cleaned, the red-haired front desk employee snapped at me with an attitude: “Who’s giving you attitude?”—while she was giving me attitude herself. The supervisor, Daniela, stood there and said nothing. I was like what are you talking about? So, I guess she was upset about my text replied. Two days in a row our room was left dirty. Terrible customer service, rude staff, and zero accountability. When I went to the front to let them know I never got my room clean or even toilet paper I told Daniela that it felt like they were picking on us because I complaint the first day. Definitely would not stay here again. This is only a short version of my experience, but I will follow up with a formal complaint by email

I had a great stay at this Embassy Suites in the Biltmore area. The location is excellent—close to plenty of restaurants and shopping, and easy to get around. Mobile check-in was smooth and convenient, and I liked that I could choose my room ahead of time. The hotel has been recently renovated; I’m not sure what it looked like before, but it definitely feels fresh, modern, and even a bit nicer than many other Embassy Suites I’ve stayed at. Breakfast is set up differently here compared to the usual Embassy Suites buffet. Instead, they offer a breakfast bar with made-to-order items. The evening manager’s reception was also great, offering two complimentary drinks and some light snacks. My room was spacious and faced the pool area. The bed and pillows are extremely soft—perfect if that’s your preference (it is not mine, too soft). There are two TVs, one in the living area and one in the bedroom. The TV guide feels pretty outdated, but honestly still better than the newer Hilton interface I’m not a fan of. The room also had a wet bar, a vanity area in the bedroom, and even two ceiling fans, which was a nice touch. I did experience sporadic hot water issues in the shower—sometimes it was warm at best, and other times it was perfectly normal. The fitness center is on the smaller side for a hotel of this size, but there’s a Lifetime Fitness right across the street if you need a more complete gym. One small inconvenience is the desk placement: it sits on the same wall as the TV, so you can’t really watch it while working. A swiveling wall mount would solve that easily. Overall, despite a few minor quirks, this will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I return to Phoenix.

The hotel was good and it was in a good location.

The staff, i was welcomed by two very rude women. The staff treated me and my family as if we were people from a different planet. I attempted to check in early which was not possible. I was okay with this due to that always being by chance. They refused to support me and just ignored me.
