Great location

the ac did not work, it was very hot and stuffy in the room

Great staff and location. Room clean. Have free coffee and tea on 2nd floor available 24/7

Room pretty small

So not worth the money! The mattress was badly worn out and needed to be replaced. It's outrageous that a mattress in this poor condition wasn't thrown out by now. I thought a hotel that was $1000 for two nights would have a decent mattress. We kept rolling into each other and woke up all night. I also had to wait over an hour for a shower curtain (because they're was none) when I wanted to shower after being in the heat all day, and we waited hours for a microwave that never showed. It was more like a cheap motel experience for sure. Except for one nice young man, everyone else at the desk seemed bothered by guests and were very unfriendly. With that said, the area of the hotel was great- within walking distance of the National Mall and White House. The coffee machine in the lounge was great. The rooms are very small but quaint and a nice change from big, commercial-chain hotels. The TV worked easily and the shower head was nice.

Perfectly located. The staff was wonderful and very responsive anytime we had a question or the couple times we had to call with inquiries. As a tourist I really appreciated that they had water refill stations along with bottles if we wanted available in the hallway. That was a really nice perk.The room itself was very comfortable and well accommodated.

I didn't like that we had to walk across the street to go get breakfast. Made us feel like we had to be ready for the day and leave from there since we were already gone from the hotel. They did have a little workout room. Many of the vending items we had difficulty getting as many of the items that we picked were out. We all show had difficulty getting the air conditioning to work or at least get to be a lower temperature that was comfortable for us. We had some hot days and we are looking for the room to be cold like we would at home and it never got cold but it did cool down.
