Sonesta Simply Suites Silicon Valley Santa Clara

Although the hotel was next to a train station it was mostly quiet. What was noisy was the old AC unit. It sounded like a motorcycle when you turn it on. Room smelled like Pine Sol so we tried to open the window to air it out but the windows could only open partially

The property is located close to the Santa Clara Caltrain station and opposite to the Santa Clara university. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are a couple of cafe options next to the hotel and it is not too far from the San Jose airport. They have parking space as well.

The location was convenient to PayPal Park and the rate was reasonable. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and a good size for the price.

The breakfast was all that we needed, but others may find it disappointing, as it was very basic with not many options.

They charge me twice the amount I supposed pay all they said is that that was a mistake and my money was on hold for 10 days also they make an extra charge for 196 that it was return back 13 days latter the worst experience no apology no explanation terrible

At the time of our stay it was either newly being finished or just upgraded as the onky thing not available was the dining/breakfast area. Other than that we have stayed multiple times and recommend to our family and friends.

Plenty of parking. Rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. Kitchen was also nice and we were provided with everything we needed to be able to cook our meals for our entire stay. Conveniently located to shopping, Santa Clara University, and short 10 minute drive to Westfield Mall and Santana Row. Hotel is secure requiring key card or buzz in entry. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Place was filthy. And very stinky. Aroma of cigarettes and pets.

The room layout was fine. The rooms seemed to have old decor, in need of upgrading. Staff service was good.
