AmericInn by Wyndham Elkhorn Near Lake Geneva

Pleasant stay. Although near the highway, it was very quiet overnight. Breakfast bar food was fine, and typical offerings for this type of hotel.

The staff is terrific and the place is very clean. Although the bed was a bit hard and the temp was difficult to control in the room, I loved the pillows and bathroom. Everything still seems new.

The place was nice, the desk people very polite. Beds are terribly uncomfortable, and ac wasnt very good....not sure I would stay here again.

I called the phone number for Wyndam hotels that I acquired online. I wanted to call the hotel in Elkhorn, WI personally, however all I could find was the national reservation number. I called the number and asked if the hotel accepted pets, and I was told yes. Therefore I booked the room with Bookings.com. I knew that I was going to be there for sure, so I didn't get any insurance. When I got to the hotel, I told them about my dog. I was told absolutely no animals. The hotel staff was absolutely no help. I had to find another hotel in town, and I was completely out of the money I paid. I never even made it past the front desk! I'm not likely to ever stay there again, and I'm going to be sure to tell all my friends about the experience I had.
