La Casa de Los Balcones

Very clean and a nice warm shower.

The bed covers were too heavy.

Clean, great TV, exceptional service. Close to the town square. Delicious breakfast.

Me gusto mucho el hospedaje bien ubicado, limpio, tiene todo lo necesario. Y también cubrieron una necesidad particular de llevarme el desayuno por temas de tiempo . Siempre atentos y con el objetivo de ayudar

Comfortable bed

I had a room on the top flooring the corner with no outside window, that looked nothing like the rooms on booking, this was at Xmas and all the other rooms appeared to be empty. Breakfast is on the ground floor in an empty room, breakfast was very poor, to the point that on the last morning I was served stone cold coffee. Also on the last morning I asked if they could get me taxi, I was told I wait in the street eventually a taxi will come by.. I would come back to this hotel there are much better nearby.

What a uniquely charming little place. The staff are always friendly & we loved the courtyard with stairs going every which way & balconies a plenty. I guess it’s deserving of its name. The rooms were cozy & secure, loved the sliding windows overlooking the courtyard, the showers were hot, beds really comfy, & wifi super fast. Two small example of the attentiveness of the staff: they always seemed to know when we were out, which was different times each day, & took that opportunity to clean our room. And they’d leave a small chocolate candy on the freshly made beds for each of us. Another one is the night before we had to leave I’d asked if it were possible to reserve a taxi here in Chachapoyas. The staff member assured me he’d take care of it & the next morning at 9AM we had a knock on our suite door- it was our taxi driver. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & would 100% recommend La Casa de los Balcones to anyone spending time in Chacha.
