Suburban Studios Abercorn

The hotel was located 10 minuetes from river street. There were 10 -15 different places to eat withing 3 to 5 min of the hotel. Two malls within 5 miles. Easy access to the interstate. The room was clean, laundry room clean and teh staff was pleasant and helpful. Couldn't ask for a better location and the price was great.

I only stayed one night in this hotel but it was nice. The room was fairly small but very clean and comfortable, with bathroom and TV. The only drawback is that it's a long way from downtown Savannah, which was a hassle for me as I didn't have a car. However, it's only a few minutes walk from a bus stop so I was able to get around OK. Also there was no breakfast included.

Rough looking outside, but room was clean and staff was very friendly. Convenient to downtown and cheap. Would return, but not with family.

This experience was ok. We needed a room for the night. We had a clean bed, hot shower and working toilet. If I need to stay more than one night, I would not choose this hotel.

the hotel was claean and comfortable.the location of the hotel was also great local to shopping centers.

Rooms were clean. Could use a new fridge. I am sure when the road construction is done it will be easier access. We did not spend much time in the room.

all i can say is that, there were strands of hair in the bed from the previous visitor. i woke up to brush my teeth and i had hair some how magically appear in my mouth . other then that it as ok. i wont stay again but it you need something its the way to go

internet service was terrible - I finally gave up on working in my room so I left early!

The card reader on the door did not work. We had to swipe our door card about 10-15 times each time we wanted to get into the room. We reported it to the front desk and they said, "O, that's the one we have trouble with" but never sent anyone to fix it. The TV made a buzzing noise and actually sparked. There is no vanity, just a sink, in the bathroom. There was a small metal shelf over the sink - large enough for toothpaste, toothbrush and a few containers. But I had to keep most of my toiletries, makeup, hair tools, etc. on the floor of the bathroom. There was a permanent ring in the toilet. We had no trouble at all with the environment, but I can see how other reviewers could be bothered by shady looking locals. It appears this is a home for a dozen or so people, including at least one prostitute (probably) and drug dealer (probably). No proof, just suspicious short-term comings and goings. Because it was St Patricks weekend, we paid $109/night. Even at the usual $55/night I don't think I would stay here again. I have about a 2 night limit in my "slumming it" limit. I can't say the service was bad or the room was awful. It was just overall a very low quality experience.

The room was like a mini apartment which was great! Staff was very nice. We had a great stay here and plan to return here next year!
