Baymont by Wyndham Tuscaloosa

The room is was past remodeling. The bathtub was all scratched and not one I would use. Furniture was very worn. The rooms are not very soundproof

Looks great on the outside. Room was clean, but run down/very outdated. Floor length mirror just leaned against the wall instead of being secured. Drapes did not keep bright lights out, which kept me awake. Heater kept hubby awake. Big dog a room or two down barked a bit in the night. Gentleman at check-in was ok. We asked for a first floor room as I have 2 bad knees and a bad hip. Didn't matter. Still had to climb two sets of stairs. Precious few cars there, so there were plenty of available rooms. Hubby says breakfast was good. Both hot and cold food.

The the cleaning of the room was very good

The people was above me, had kids was running in the room all night . Moving furniture for 2 days. I didn't get much sleep.

Door locking latch broken

This Hotel looks nothing like the advertised picture outside. The tub was damaged and need to be refinished. The bath was old and dated. The room was dated. The toilet didn't flush properly. Surprised named "Baymont by Wyndham". This hotel needs major work. Price was right for a one night stay.

Only thing we liked about the property was the location.

Staff was rude we wanted to check in earlier and pay for it because that was an option. We only wanted to check in an hour early. They told us they had no rooms clean and available but where we parked we counted the rooms with open curtains and beds made minus the ones up stairs. From where we parked when we arrived it just so happened they gave us a room we parked in front of. Nobody came in or out of the rooms from our view. They didn’t want the extra money to check in early. Room wasn’t clean. Tub was painted over to cover stains. Ice bucket and microwave also dirty. In the morning we heard staff arguing around 8-9am all had the mouths of sailors.
