Palace Hotel do Bussaco

Beautiful palace hotel like living history. The room was small but there was a beautifully appointed room for guests to relax in, this was originally a ball room and simply beautiful. The restaurant food was excellent and service was perfect from all the staff. Breakfast was superb and the surrounding forest area was paradise. There is also a cafe just outside the hotel in the same grounds which has excellent reasonably priced food. But do have at least one dinner at the palace… it was excellent! I loved everything.

We absolutely loved the entire “Downtown Abbey” feel of the accommodations. The incredible history and elegance of every part of the Palace was truly memorable. The grounds and surroundings were so beautiful! The staff were professional, courteous and kind. The amazing breakfast was delicious!

We stayed at the Bussaco Palace for two nights to celebrate my 60th birthday--what an incredible experience. The palace and the grounds are beautiful--the flowers were in full bloom. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. All the employees at the palace were kind, friendly, helpful, and very professional! The price was highly reasonable--I expected to pay more for a stay at a palace as beautiful as the Bussaco.

The palace is breathtaking and there is so much to see. The staff was so friendly and professional. I loved their breakfast. I highly recommend.

Beds were a bit hard but otherwise it was all very clean and beautiful

Da localização ao staff é excional nada a apontar. Mas percebo, que não podem fazer muito mais, com uma gerência que parece que os abandonos à sua sorte. A eles e ao Edifício dou as 5 estrelas À gerencia dou 0 estrelas

Da degradação que hotel se encontra. Para Hotel 5 estrelas, os donos estão a viver um conto de fadas, como descrevem no panfleto. Televisão só com 5 canais, Wi-Fi não se ligava, as casa de banhos ultrapassadas, portas dos quartos com fecho de segurança do tempo dos meus avós as janelas com folgas e passava o frio, etc... É pena, podia ser um hotel considerado um dos melhores do mundo, pelo edifício e local. Mas os senhores que o estão a gerir, nem devem ter noção do potencial que tem nas mãos. A mim mete pena pelo o edifício histórico .

The setting is sumptuous, the people are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is good and various. The forest around the castle il strikingly beautiful

No WiFi in the rooms, no plugs, no minibar. The facilities are not those of a 5 star hotels . They are stuck in the 70s'. The restaurant is overpriced and the food is mediocre.
