Amazing views over St Aubin’s bay. In a beautiful location. Bit of a steep hill to climb to entrance. Manageable for me but not for everyone. Staff need to recognise that older female guests are not all waiting for someone to join them - some of us are solo travellers !

An excellent location and lovely property to stay in. We had a beautiful sea view room. Our only gripe was that we were given a 9.15 slot for breakfast and items on the buffet like pastries and fruit had run out and on most days were not refreshed. Other than that it was all perfect.
Stunning location - it must be one of the best in Jersey. Most of the staff were great - in particular Happy the head barman was excellent, friendly and efficient and made great espresso martinis. At breakfast staff were a bit pressed coping with a full hotel, but worked hard to keep on top of things. Top tip - ask for bacon crispy and sausage well done, otherwise not very appetising. Continental buffet was excellent value. Had lunch in Tides - very good indeed. Downsides - wifi in our room was patchy and often the tv was down or breaking up. We had a classic room which was comfortable but very snug. Servicing the room was on request due to local Covid regulations, but most items could be requested from housekeeping or reception. All in all - we enjoyed our stay very much.
I’ve stayed at this hotel 10 or 12 times, it really is lovely, in a beautiful setting, great views, excellent breakfast, welcoming staff. It’s recently been refurbished and the rooms are even more stylish now. You get complimentary water in your room daily, plus the usual tea/coffee and a box of jersey fudge as a welcome gift. My only issue was my room. Room 99. On the 1st floor overlooking the car park, the front door, a flat roof and eventually the sea. It was so noisy, I heard every car, drunk and smoker chatting right outside our window. The room was also tiny. We didn’t have space to walk past each other in the room, no chance of putting the ironing board up. It really is tiny. For £175 a night for 5 nights I expect better. I think we were just unlucky as every other time we’ve had a excellent spacious room.

Sited in elevated scenic position. Many new staff who could have a little more help from an experienced Co worker and given support. Room would have been better if a little bigger.
