Junipine Resort

I chose this property because we planned to go to Slide Rock. It was perfect for this reason. The villa was updated and everything was clean.

Enjoyed our two-night stay. Our unit was clean and very quiet.

This property is a bit dated, and a few things in the suite showed their age or didn’t work properly. However, there are far more good things that ultimately makes this a place I’d return to. The location is beautiful; the antique style decor is unique; the villas are huge; all the basics are provided (though don’t expect any high quality items or anything like that). Honestly, it’s more than reasonable for the price. The creek is awesome, and it’s nice to have a big balcony.

We were disappointed that the view was primarily of the parking lot not the forest. There were several issues we encountered with the unit. The front door bolt lock did not lock with the key. The back door sliding door lock did not work. We had to use a wooden stick to prevent it from opening. Both the sinks in the master did not drain. Front screen door was ripped/broken. Damage throughout the unit. I would have expected it to be in better condition. I did appreciate that the kitchen was fully stocked. Love the property grounds.

The ladies at the reception where so friendly, I will be coming back and bringing the family.

How have we not stayed here before, this place was wonderful. I just wanted to sit on the patio and take in the beauty and the smell of Juniper. My kids loved the location with the creek behind the property and I thought the rooms looked even nicer than they did in the photos. We will definitely be back.

Location away from tourist crowd and tucked in beautiful trees with private creek access easy handicap accessible unit at end of parking lot plenty of space nice floor plan of two bedroom villa with peaceful relaxing views from the wraparound rear deck nice restaurant on site reception area helpful and has some basic items for purchase
