Wrexham Llyndir Hall Hotel, BW Signature Collection

I visited today. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Afternoon tea was beautifully presented and had a good selection. However, the spa area (small pool and sauna) was filthy. Definitely needs updating in my opinion. The floors in the pool area were dirty. There was a smell of stagnant water and the changing rooms were awful.

first impressions was very nice until we got to our rooms, thats when the nightmare began. ripped bed liner, dirty bathrooms, coffee stains on the walls, dust every where, un-ironed netts on windows and pubic hairs in the bed.once we had come over the that one we decided to go for a swim another nightmare. cold and dirty changing rooms, towels not easily accessible the pool area itself again was absolutely disgusting the mirrors around the pool where filthy, the floor was the same and the pool water temperature seemed like it was below freezing, we where literally in there 10 minutes. evening meal was just ok and breakfast was a disaster, no tables available, not enough food out, no orange juice dirty plates and cups could not wait to check out, would not go back there ever again

Having previously stayed at this hotel was looking forward to a revisit. Ideal location for discovering Chester in beautiful surroundings. Room spacious but tired and bathroom not very clean. Tea and coffee facilities but no biscuits! Remote control not compatible with the TV. Swimming pool small but functional so long as not a lot of guests using at the same time. Disappointed to see plans to reducing opening hours of the pool as this is one of the reasons for staying here. Breakfast ok but nothing special. Lack of cereal choice however service excellent. Will be considering alternative hotels for future visits to the area.

Great trip with the most helpful & pleasant staff. Will certainly go again.

Beds were awful Broken and pillows like bricks , cleanliness of pool terrible, no baby changing facilities in swimming are making it difficult.

Lovely two nights spent here staff were lovely food great and hotel. Had a problem with our room the first night as radiator wouldn’t turn off so was like a sauna but we were moved and up for added the next day
