Crewe Hall is absolutely stunning — the grounds and historic architecture are breathtaking, and the whole place has such a romantic, luxurious vibe. The staff were polite and helpful, and the atmosphere felt really special, perfect for a weekend getaway. The only downside was that we were allocated a disabled-access room, which felt a little unusual given that we hadn’t requested one. While it was spacious and clean, some of the features (like the bathroom setup) didn’t feel quite as comfortable or luxurious as we would have expected for a standard room. It didn’t ruin our stay by any means, but it was a bit of a surprise. Had to pay extra for a different room type, but I am glad we did because the upgraded room was in the main building and beautiful. Overall, it’s a gorgeous venue with so much character — just maybe worth double-checking the room type
Amazing views
Lovely venue old venue, went for a birthday party, would recommend to friends visiting from abroad. Only negative was the shower was stuck on boiling and locked at a height for someone vertically challenged, I near enough had to sit down to use it.

Lovely hotel, but all staff need some training on customer service - i constantly felt i was a hassle to them Evening meal was good, but breakfast buffet was very poor with luke warm sausages and cold bacon. Had a meeting in the hotel and returned to Brasserie for Lunch to faced with another buffet and was faced with cold chips and luke warm sausages (saved by hot gravy)
Great place.... overnight single week day stop over due to train cancellation.... Good service....rooms good all be it random numbering and quite a walk from the hotel reception.... Tried the Restaurant.... very reasonable... seemed quiet on a week night although told or was busy... Recommend the pool.. never tried the spa.... will be back if ever stuck in Crewe again... Room was serviced by a lovely girl..... Kate T.... Everything was as it should be...
Beautiful property. Checkin/checkout experience spoiled the whole stay. Such a shame. Better staff training to directly acknowledge and admit mistakes will improve the customer experience.
During our 3 weeks visit to the UK we visited of 25 historic homes and gardens. This was our only opportunity to actually stay in one. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Not only did we stay at a historic site but one that had modern facilities and amenities also. Couldn’t have been better. The staff was great too.
