Extended Stay America Suites - Auburn Hills - University Drive

The beds were average, the bathroom was technically clean but there was a lot of pealing paint and rust stains on the shower/tub that didn’t really look appealing to take a shower in. The kitchenette was a little rough looking as well, paint pealed everywhere, the microwave looked very old, the fridge wasn’t cold at all. There was barely any front desk staff during the hours there should be but when someone was there it was decent service. Overall a decent hotel just very dated and needed some new things so for a quick stay it was convenient and cheap.

I am formally requesting a full refund for my stay at Extended Stay Inn 3315 University Drive Auburn Hills MI. I paid over $1,000 for what was advertised as an Extended Stay America property, but this was a complete misrepresentation. • The hotel is no longer an Extended Stay America. The official Extended Stay headquarters confirmed this to me directly. • The building signage now reads “Extended Stay Inn”, which is not the same brand, and I was not informed of this change prior to booking. • The property is under construction, with damaged rooms and beds/sheets left outside on the grass. • I had no housekeeping for nearly two weeks, despite being charged high rates. • I found a cockroach in my suite (with traps already under my bed and trash can). I have photo evidence. This property was falsely represented, unsanitary, and unsafe. I am demanding: 1. A full refund of all charges (Booking.com + lobby payments). 2. Rooms were ok. The tub drain was not functional. Parking was great. The staffs were very nice. The hallways were dirty. Room has a wet smell to it. Other than that not a terrible place. Great location.

Remodeling entire FLOOR WITHOUT NOTICE!!! Construction at 930pm. I went out and was engulfed in debris and dust. Went to manger and she moved me and my 8yo disabled daughter to a room on the other side and different floor. I had a full blown asthma attack. My little girl broke out in hives everywhere. Today's picture day. We're exhausted and they won't even allow me to check out late after moving our stuff all night.m Reporting to state

It was inexpensive

of the 7 nights I stayed, 4 of the nights, my keys didn't work. Had to go to the front desk when I arrived for the night, being locked out and have them reprogrammed.

The location

I did not like anything about the property. Doors didn’t work. AC didn’t work. Nothing in the kitchen pots pans etc. Loud noises all night long. The person above me was stomping and screaming to the point i couldn’t sleep
