I booked this hotel through Booking.com on 8/24 for a stay from 8/30 to 9/1. I even noted in my reservation that I would be arriving late in the early morning of 8/31. When my wife and I arrived, the lobby was locked with no staff in sight. A sign directed us to use a phone to reach the night auditor, who eventually let me in. Once inside, I explained that I had a reservation. The auditor claimed his system wasn’t working and that he couldn’t see any incoming bookings. When he finally pulled up the list, he told me my name wasn’t there at all. He did not ask for my confirmation number or email, only my name. He even suggested I might be at the wrong location, but my email confirmation clearly had the correct address. I checked, and there was no other location nearby. As a result, we were left stranded in San Antonio for 2 hours in the middle of the night until I managed to find another hotel willing to accommodate us. To make things worse, I was later charged $65 by this hotel with no explanation and no receipt. It feels like a scam.

The quietness and location of the room. The support staff was very friendly.
