Extended Stay America Suites - Orange County - Cypress

The location was great and the late night staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Beds were not very comfortable but overall the room was clean and with plenty of space.

Bed was comfortable. It was convenient to family.

Noisy guests, Disney fireworks, could use some upgrades. Parking lot could use more lighting. Thank you.

With the cost of living so high, my family and I were looking for a temporary home away from home until the economy balanced out, and Extended Stay America has turned out be an answer to many of our prayers. The Cypress location was nestled inconspicuously next to a few business places (FedEx, restaurants & fast foods), which we also had a chance to patronize as well. We began this portion of our journey at another location/hotel in Cypress when there was an unexpected break in the water main at that location and our room was directly affected. So, I decided to divert my family to the nearby Extended Stay Cypress, for just a few days while the leak was being fixed. The professional yet friendly manner, in which we were greeted, the smooth process at check-in and the quality of the room allocated to us quickly won us over, compared to where we were! However, though we were only scheduled to be there for a few days, the 24-hour indoor laundry facility, the indoor garbage disposal, the ability to constantly hear a pin drop, and the ever so ready-to-serve staff had placed our psyche over the top, and we ended up staying there for well over 6 months. The front and back of the hotel’s operation is run seamlessly, the hallways are wide, very long and always well-kept and the atmosphere, especially the professionalism of Jen, the Assistant Manager and April, the Manager is compatible with corporate run structures all aptly coinciding with the street the hotel resides on “Corporate Avenue” (go figure). Breakfast: Quick grab and go breakfast of pastries, muffins, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and more... Rooms: The rooms are kept remarkably clean, the space is perfect for us and our needs; the bathrooms are immaculate and very spacious; ESA’s attention to detail and the staff’s response time to customer needs/requests is on par with a 5-Star Hotel, another tribute to the staff as well as the quarterbacking of its Management. Rooms have a larger than average window where we thoroughly enjoy the rays of the sun☀️along with the mountain views. Property: As mentioned before, the property is in a nook in an area that is very quaint and yet there are many diverse locations accessible within the immediate area. The property is kept clean; the scenery and foliage give us a continued warm feeling associated with “Home”. We were especially pleased and appreciative of the services of the cleaning and maintenance staff, all with a big ready-to-greet-you smile and a hankering to offer their best service! Surrounding Area: There are a myriad of interesting locations within walking distance, from an ATM to restaurants & fast-food eateries, from a FedEx to convenience & clothing stores. And the biggest surprise of it all was finding out that the hotel was so centrally located in the heart of Fun, Fun and more Fun. Yes, it was only an average of 15 – 30 minutes away from some of the most exciting venues, offering every imaginable fun filled experience known to man! Places like Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Adventure City and Legoland (just to name a few), who knew! We made it a point to go for a few great adventures and outings during our time here. April and Jen, we congratulate you both on maintaining this hotel at 5-Star corporate quality, above all maintaining the highest standard of guest comfort. Can both of you please extend our most heartfelt compliments to the staff (especially Mona, Candice, Alicia, Bridgette, Maria, Jake, Robert and Evaristo, just to name a few), for a job well done! ESA Cypress is truly one of Orange County’s hidden treasures! Cheers‼️
