Roma Sur Apartments with Balcony - Family Friendly

Kitchen basic, only two rolls of toilet paper we had to go buy more. Some small animals in the kitchen. And incredibly hot. With no mosquito netting on windows.

The location was great

Location

The apartment was dirty when arrived. The bed sheets were dirty and unwashed. There was trash on the trash cans and food on the fridge from the people before us. Some of the lights don't turn on. No toiletries either. Some stuff looks like they're falling apart. And the beds weren't comfortable at all. Try to communicate with the owner, but there is no response.

There were many cockroaches

Location was really nice. Everything is nearby. The host gave us a good discount.

Building itself is pretty old. Not enough blankets and bedsheets. TV was lagging so hard. It was impossible to watch something.

Location was walkable within Roma and Condesa neighborhoods

Arrived around 10pm on check-in, no hot water on arrival, low water pressure, one of the toilets was not filling with water, bathroom had moldy walls, only one set of keys for the group (which is crucial because upstairs gate to apartment requires keys for entering AND leaving). Connected with property owner, who only offered to cancel the reservation instead of any other remedy, at 11pm. When asked about another set of keys, their response was that a previous tenant lost them, which shouldn’t mean that our reservation should be impacted. When asked about a late check out or luggage storage, they offered to rent out the apartment for an additional night of 60 usd. Maintenance did arrive the next day, but it wasn’t first thing in the morning as promised, but a couple hours later, wasting one of our mornings on a four night stay. This feels like a case of absentee landlord doing everything remotely and it isn’t being done very well.
