The room was dirty. The bathroom sink and toilet was dirty. The room smelled bad, like a person who stayed there for a long time and you can still smell his body odor.

"As seen on TV show Cops!! DO NOT STAY!! EVER"

My wife and I went to Irvine to visit family. We booked through a travel site that gave decent rating. How wrong that rating was. When we arrived, around 10pm, the office area was dark with one single lamp on and two employees at the desk. Both doors were locked and when one of the employees opened the door. He wanted to know why we were there. My wife stated, to check in! We were placed on the second floor of the building. from where we parked to our room, tons of garbage on the ground. Garbage can was overflowing with trash. Our room smelled of cigarettes, no smoking allowed hotel. Carpet had seen better days. No dishware in kitchenette. Sign saying to contact front desk for dishware. After the fun with checking in, we decided to wait until morning. Lots of wear and tear on all cabinets. On one cabinet was a red substance with hair in it. In bathroom purple goop, shampoo? The sink had individual hot and cold valve handles. The hot didn't work. The sink was also to the right of the mirror. So can't shave over sink and watch what you are shaving. The fitted sheet had little stains. One of the lamps plug had tape wrapped around it. (Fire hazard?). We decided we would check out in the morning and find some place cleaner. I now know this place if for hard working folks in town to work and just need a cheap place to sleep. Construction and other service type workers. But this is not for families.
