White Tortoise Eco Villa's

We recommend White Tortoise Villa's for your stay in Uluwatu. High on the hill surrounded by lush jungle, with majestic views of the ocean and the township below, a short (A$6) taxi ride away. The villa itself was clean and tidy with the private plunge pool to cool off and escape the Bali heat. But aside from the fantastic location and presentation of the villa, it is the staff themselves that make this place shine, always going above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble. Rez the manager is ably assisted by the unflappable and always friendly Christina & Kofa. And the kitchen staff - WOW, you must eat here !! Gracious service and delicious meals professionally prepared and readily able to accommodate Gluten free meals for my coeliac wife. 11 out of 10. The place to stay in Uluwatu, Bali

That we only had a week there.....

This place is spectacular. The detailed artisanal finishes of the room, the quality of the furniture and sheets and netting and artwork, the flowers, the pool, the care and the attention to details: it was a true Bali fairytale experience. The food was delicious and prepared with care, well balanced and consistently delicious. The best part: the staff. From Christina's welcome, the restaurant crew's care and attention, to Rez's fun disposition and entertaining conversations, the people of this place deserve 10/10 on their own merit. Thank you for making our short but sweet visit (and our honeymoon) a beautiful experience. We will certainly try to be back soon!

On Tuesdays, there is a Latin party nearby and some music can be heard, nothing too bad or disturbing. The management sent an advisory note apologizing for the possible disturbance, which is out of their control. However, rather than an apology, they should *notify* their guests (especially those from LATAM) ahead of time so they can plan properly: we heard the music when we were already getting ready to wind down in the pool, and it was SO GOOD that we had to get dressed again and go party until the early hours 😂.

Cleanliness and friendly staff.

This is an excellent place for those who want to get away from people and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The staff is very attentive to guests. Communication is easy ( watsapp). The service is excellent, breakfasts and lunch are served fresh and well-prepared, just the way we like it. Fresh juices were amazing. You don't need to look for something else around. Dinners can be ordered from nearby restaurants, just ask at the reception. We had a romantic dinner at our villa, it was perfectly organized by the staff.

Maybe it would be good to have some coffee in rooms.

Great to have a private pool

You have to pass by the reception each time you enter or leave the villa. For some people this might be a good benefit but perhaps not if you want absolute privacy or want to invite guests over etc. all be mindful of stairs if staying in the top villas

Hotel plein de charme et confortable situé dans les hauteurs de Uluwatu. Le lieu est paisible et très propre. Les équipes sont vraiment adorables, souriantes et adorent plaisanter. J’ai séjourné dans une villa individuelle avec piscine privée et c’était fantastique. La chambre est majestueuse, le lit est très confortable, la salle de bain semi ouverte est un régal avec la vue paradisiaque. Je vous recommande fortement de séjourner dans cet établissement où on se sent come a la maison.

Beautifully decorated, great breakfast and comfortable.

Liked everything, only minor thing was that the hot water didn’t last long in the shower but as it is an eco villa that’s understandable!
