Sun River Hotel & Apartment

This was not the original property we had booked to stay in but, due to them (original property) not responding to several requests regards our booking, we decided to cancel at almost the last minute and look for somewhere else. And what a great place we found! The location of the apartments is within a quiet neighbourhood. You will however hear people singing karaoke during the day, and into the evening, but it all quietens down by around 9pm. We have honestly never stayed in such a quiet place in a city! Plenty of shops within a few minutes walk, and you can easily get to the beach within 15 minutes. It’s a great place to explore all the back streets which are full of markets, shops, bars, cafes, etc, and all the noises and smells associated with them, and to then be able to get back to your little piece of sanity and quiet. The staff were amazingly polite and helpful, and really can’t do enough for you. The little guy who works at the front of the property (I never got his name) doing all the odd jobs - gardening, sweeping up, etc - will just appear out of nowhere to help with your bags. And he won’t take no for an answer 😀. The breakfast spread is really good and traditionally Vietnamese so, if you’ve never been to Vietnam before, expect to see the likes of chicken and rice, soup, dim sum, etc. If this is not for you then don’t worry, as you can still get the likes of scrambled or fried eggs, toast and jam, and plenty of fresh fruit.

Everything was good - quick check in, clean high quality apartment, fast wifi, daily cleaning, location close to beach. Thanks to Quynh Anh and Hien for a great stay!

Would be nice if there was a pay online option via booking.com, property wasn't able to accept my business AMEX card in person so I had to put it on my other cards so paying online would have been more convenient but otherwise no issues.

The staff were all so nice and friendly. I didn’t really make use of the facilities as I was busy but I really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay there again

Noisy neighbours letting their kids ban on the walls and scream at all times do the day and night, but that wasn’t the hotels fault.

I loved how spacious the apartment was, how clean it was, and how quiet the street was. The WIFI was more than working and watching movies.

Neighbours are sometimes loud, they leave the dog outside the side street, and it barks all morning. This is subjective to the entier country so dont want to single out the hotel here.

Un pò discosto dalla zona centrale. Potrebbe dotarsi di un tuk-tuk per portare i clienti in zona un pò più centrale, come verso le spiagge

Appartement très spacieux et très propre. Personnel attentionné et réactif. Emplacement proche de la plage mais à l'écart des quartiers très touristiques, donc très calme le soir.
