Friendly and helpful staff delicious and fresh food good sized room with a great view and terrace Our room was upgraded to sea view which was very kind.

No hairdryers Doors in the bathroom not closing Long waiting times for breakfast. Security can be improved, lost a camera in the room.

The staff are so friendly and helpful; they really were the highlight. Shela is small and a short walk takes you wherever you need to go.

They initially gave us a room that felt like a prison cell; not at all what we expected. Asked for an upgrade/change and they did oblige, which was much better, with its own balcony. Breakfast was disappointing. Terrible coffee. System of ordering the day before; seems their catering fails to streamline. We eventually gave up on having rbeakfast there. Their "rooftop restaurant" does not exist. Probably the only building in the whole of Shela that has security cameras and burglar bars everywhere - you really get the sense it's simply a money-making business with tight monitoring from the owners, with the poor staff trying to keep guests happy because of excessive pricing and poor facilities. If there are kids in the pool, you will hear every sound in your bedroom. If the price had been reflective of what it is, we would have been happy. But I would rather have paid a little more and stayed at some of the other incredible places in Shela, or paid much less and did an "apartment stay" and used the free cash for other activities. Mosquito net was too short for the double bed.

The staff and facilities were the best.

Breakfast was charged yet it was to be BB. Room was flooded, beddings were not clean, room was not presentable, staff were rude and mostly unresponsive (manager/supervisor. The establishment was completely different from what they show on booking.com. They asked me to pay for the boat yet it had already been paid for directly by the clients (MPESA message available to prove this). I booked this establishment for my clients and i regret it BIG TIME!! I asked them to do their own review. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!! Especially with the amount they charge for it???? Client said it's like sleeping in a local boarding and lodging. Even slippers were of different colors!!!
