Rylands Farmhouse

This is a very comfortable guest house, it is clean and tidy but our room was looking a little tired.

We found the property very nice and well kept, our room as a bit small but had everything we needed for our over night stay and our English Breakfast was great with good presentation

Lovely grounds, easy parking and convenient for airport. Nice pub nearby for dinner (was a recommendation from staff). Room very small as expected. A couple of drinking glasses would have been good. Unfortunately the bathroom had water and mould issues. The skirting boards are mouldy and deteriorating and there is mould on lower walls. There is no way you can open the shower door without getting lots of water on the floor. The water in the shower in Room 4 was scalding with no way to cool it. Yes, we didn’t call anyone, we had driven all day and had an early flight next morning.

Nice venue and a good room which is well equipped. The bathroom (room 2) has some mould on the ceiling and peeling paint which is an effect of the steam in a small bathroom (hence knocking off a star). Cooked breakfast was really good but there is no option for cereal etc. which I think is something they should also offer. I would definitely use again.

This was a great stay! Very close to Manchester airport, and yet at the same time, in the middle of a quaint countryside field. Quiet room, pretty view, nice breakfast.

We’ve stayed here 3 times and have always enjoyed it. The breakfast is excellent. Unfortunately our shower leaked although the door was securely shut so the bathroom floor bath mat etc got very wet. Apart from that everything else was great. Very good value for money xx

The beds where very uncomfortable, and worn out. Which lead to non of us been able to sleep. Limited communication, no information in property to where to get breakfast etc. I expected a lot more for the price I paid.

We stayed two nights at Rylands Farmhouse as it was located near to Tatton Park for the RHS flower show. Our room (no.10) was clean and tidy - as described on hotels.com. Breakfast was freshly cooked, and delicious; however the option of pastries and fresh fruit salad etc. would of been appreciated. Also, coat hangers or a wardrobe would be useful. All in all a good visit. For local pubs the best we found was the Bears Paws Country Inn which was excellent.

Clean room, easy check-in, nice cooked breakfast but small room (limited space for luggage), small (short) bed and tiny sink. Aircraft noise and woken by guests leaving for airport at 5 am. Room not made up on 2nd day /no response to complaint re this.
