The location and venue were amazing. The rooms were small but very nice. The facility was immaculately clean, the room was clean with the exception of the mildew in the bathroom shower and many spiders in the corners of the walls and ceiling.

I was in room 11 some of the lights didn’t work and the carpet looked really worn and dirty with stains on it. Other than that to room was fine.

A perfect place to sleep away our jet lag after arriving into Manchester Airport - so close, only about a 10 min drive. Peaceful setting, very neat & tidy - it had only the basics but everything we needed. The provided breakfast was very good and the idyllic scene of horses feeding in the field was a great way to start the day.

Really convenient for airport. Comfortable and quiet surroundings.

It was a beautiful setting, and the breakfast was amazing. I loved everything about this accommodation except for the steep stairs up to our room that made it difficult to carry the suitcases.

We would highly recommend Roland’s as a lovely place to stay. We had a little trouble initially finding it but when we got through to the manager he literally stayed on the phone to navigate us to where we needed to be. My daughter wasn’t well the day we arrived and the staff were very helpful and courteous, sorted out breakfast for us up in our room, and were just lovely and helpful. Its a beautiful spot, gorgeous breakfast room and fantastic breakfast including a full vegetarian breakfast and gluten free options, so very grateful all round. Thanks for making our stay much better than it could have been. When you feel sick you just want a home away from home and this was just perfect.

Easy to find but on a very fast bend in the road.Room 8 is a loft conversion with limited head room and a steep spiral staircase which makes it near impossible to take a suitcase up.Breakfast 8/10 Chef very accommodating.

Gorgeous setting, historic buildings, convenient to airport. Staff was delightful, welcoming and great communication when our room had to be changed at the last minute.

Staying at Rylands was a very relaxed experience, and just what we needed before our lengthy flights ahead. Without doubt, the cooked breakfast was the best we’ve ever had. Every aspect was professional from start to finish.
