Breakfast and the service with it was excellent

The staff went out of their way to make our 40th anniversary trip memorable providing wine, flowers, chocolate and a card sent by our daughters from Canada! Wonderful!

The room with balcony terrace and en suite was great, sea view was splendid, we could lie on the bed and watch the sunset which was glorious. Breakfast was great and a good start to the day. Staff we all delightful as was the owner, Helen who greeted all with a smile and friendly chat. The beach, just over the road, was super, without rubish and not at all crowded. We will be there again.

Helen and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make sure that they provided everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. The single room although not large was very well set up with a good sized en suite. There was a good choice of well cooked food for breakfast. One minor point was that sink was too small to be able to fill the kettle directly but that was easily overcome.

Just opposite to the beach, viewing the glorious sunset. Easy check in, personal service at the restaurant . Landlady at hand to look after you personally at breakfast. Rooms very comfortable. Restaurant was busy but quick service and food good. One comment is that the voices from the restaurant are heard in the room.

All the staff, without exception, were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food and drink at the on-site restaurant was very good and well priced. Everywhere was very clean. The only disappointment in the whole stay was the "packed lunch". Just a sandwich made from cheap white bread with barely one slice of wafer thin ham (so none really) and some bitter leaves, no tomato or cucumber, etc.

Had a lovely stay for our anniversary - especially so since we missed two during lockdown. Helen and everyone there were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Add to that a lovely beach view from our balcony and watching this sun set into the sea every evening. Food was excellent and we had a great time all round.
