Anchor Guest House

Wonderful breakfast and generally excellent service from all staff (with a smile). They even make a point to remember you name! Checking in and out were both swift and painless. Room is very basic, bit dated but comfy enough and hey, the price is so reasonable, you can hardly complain. :) Great team and effort at Anchor! Keep it up!

Fantastic stay at the Anchor Guest house—few short steps from the beach and lovely hospitality. Huge bonus that the Sunshine Italian restaurant happens to also be hosted in the guest house—absolutely fantastic pizza and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend a stay here! 10/10!

The Welcome on arrival was customer friendly and very efficient. The proprietor remembered the names of all the guests staying and personally welcomed them ( and us of course) at breakfast each morning. The Italian restaurant was excellent with friendly and efficient staff and clearly well run by the Restaurant Manager whose personality was every bit as good as the food - 10/10 for every aspect of this establishment.

Nice place to stay, just they don’t clean the room and doesn’t change the used towels. Room was a bit small and toilet/bathroom was small too.

Really friendly welcome - in the hotel and in the town. Right on the beach with a fantastic Italian restaurant and great coffee. Highly recommended

Great food and very friendly service. Amazing location and view. A deep clean would have given a higher score- shower tray and curtain and extractor fan were pretty grubby
