Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy The Broughton Apartments Historic District

Beautiful building and location

Parking wasn't too bad.

The check-in/access was seamless. The location was highly walkable. We could walk to anything in the historic district. The bathroom and kitchen were larger than expected. Wifi and nice touch there was a guest account for the TV.

The walls were thinking-- could hear everything inside and a good amount outside. The floors creaked and so knew when your neighbors were up.

Good location

The information provided ahead of time was limited and was 20+ minute wait time to hear from the staff. Which is especially frustrating when you are trying to find where to park then again when you are trying to check in. The cherry on top was the pressure washer that started at 11pm outside the bedroom window and ran for a few hours

Room 3L in the third floor is quirt and huge with 2 bedrroms

Beautiful unit, great location. There are few opportunities though. The entry code didn’t work and it took about 45 minutes to get into it finally using a key from the lock box outside the door. We were traveling with our adult daughter & her fiancé and they slept on the sofa sleeper. It was terrible for them, very thin mattress, they could feel the bed frame and they didn’t sleep either night we were there :(.

The location was incredible and we requested help via phone call and it was good.

So much sound and noises every time. Doors opening and closing, people talking, walking. you can hear EVERYTHING.

The room we were originally assigned was dirty when we arrived. We arrived at 630pm and check in was 4pm so no reason for a dirty room. It then took over an hour and being disconnected 3 times to get a new a room. Catherine was the only helpful agent we spoke to who got the matter sorted for us. Our new room was clean and spacious. Then when we went to check out we could not get into the luggage storage and that took two more phone calls. Overall not having someone on property is not helpful. They should also have a place to replenish towels
