Rooms are a bit dated.

Nice quiet location. Close to downtown.

Didn’t like that our room opened right out to parking lot.

Quiet, comfortable clean. Kind and accomidating staff. We love the morning picnic basket with breakfast in it .Coffee is delicious. We are within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping .Perfect romantic vibe. We come here at least once a year from Napa <3

Breakfast baskets were good and convenient. Wine happy hour and the patio area was also a plus.

Our room smelled like an old vintage store and constant knockings at night. Besides that it was good.

The atmosphere was nice, very peaceful and relaxing.

The pillows on the big were uncomfortable, some were too big the others were too small.

My husband and I spent 4 lovely days at the Horizon Inn and Oceanview Lodge. Our Lodge room was clean, spacious enough with adequate closet and drawer space; and we enjoyed the fireplace and the special touches of microwave oven, small refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker and counter space. A lovely feature was the balcony with an ocean view. And especially delightful was the delivery each morning of a picnic basket filled with Continental breakfast goodies! The shops and restaurants of Carmel are just down the hill by way of a shortLodge. And the outdoor portion of the Lodge is so nice with a firepit and a jacuzzi on a lovely patio. We will definitely be returning to this welcoming, comfortable lodge.

Excellent place to stay at Carmel, would definitely come back again. Highly recommend
