"Relaxing 2 weeks"

Great hotel complex, with plenty to do day and night. Something for everyone. Stunning well maintained grounds with a relaxed atmosphere. Rooms Room spacious and clean! Few bits advertised missing but a call to reception and quickly remediated. Bed comfy, and comfy seating area. Mini bar stocked daily and customised with a small tip to cater for needs. Terrace areas relaxing and clean and only a few steps from pool and mobile bar. Maid service daily and rooms always immaculate with some added bed art Food Good choice of places to eat to suffice all dietary tastes! El Faro was a hidden gem! Food of good quality throughout the resort! Coffee shop 24/7 was a bonus! Only complaints was buffet had a lot of flys in the morning time. Bars Great selection of beverages all served with a smile and great hospitality Overall great stay and would return again

"Amazing Stay!!"

My family and I stayed at Iberoestar Selection Coral Bavaro room 2383 from Agust 4 to August 11, and we can honestly say the service was exceptional! Upon arrival, we were greeted by Francis( the bellman) who took us to the coral reception, then Alfonso checked us in and provided all the ne cessary information , he was very professional and helpful. The room was very clean and well maintained. Thank you to the room attendant. Sorry we forgot her name. Adelin from food and beverage was excellent. Everyday we met with Francis and Erik who treated us like a family . Later we met Jose from Coral reception who was also amazing and made our stay even more enjoyable. At the Bavaro reception, we had the pleasure of meeting Henry in guest services. He was fantastic and always willing to help. I even observed him assisting other guests and it is clear he truly enjoys what he does. Thank you Iberoestar selection Coral Bavaro for an unforgettable and Amazing stay. La atención se las personas que nos brindaban servicio en el faro

Cuando llegamos el concierge solo nos saludó y no nos ayudó durante la estadía. En uno de los desayunos nos salió un pan lleno de moho, informamos y no pasó nada solo lo botaron y no revisan si había más panes en mal estado. Y al final programamos el transporte con el hotel y antes de irnos llamaron un taxi de la calle y el tipo de molesto conmigo porque tenía que tomar su taxi y al decirle que no empezó a tratarme mal, para sorpresa la recepción y personal del hotel no hicieron nada para cuidarnos o defendernos, dejó foto con la licencia y placa para que tenga cuidado

I always have a great time picking our travel hotels through Costco except for our recent visit to the Iberostar Selection Coral Bavaro. We stayed in June and were picked up at the airport with no issues getting to the resort. We got there early so our room wasn’t ready but that was expected and we were fine waiting until around until it was.  They assigned us a concierge who convinced us to attend a presentation on their travel discount service. He said we could leave whenever we wanted during the presentation and that it would take place during breakfast and we’d get a resort credit of $180 so we figured we could make that happen the next morning. Mainly we did it for him as he said he’d also get a commission if we attended, we knew going in we were not interested in their package. The next morning, they registered us, and assigned us a really sweet sales rep. We attend the presentation and didn’t finish going through the tour until 3 hours later! The sales rep was great at their job, but we were not interested and the sales rep, manager and QC persons were extremely pushy, aggressive and rude when we kept insisting we were not interested. If you’re interested in a vacation package, feel free to hear them out otherwise DECLINE this presentation because it’s a HUGE waste of time. The only pro to the wasted 3 hours was getting the credits we spent at gift shops. Outside of the first day, our concierge didn’t add any value to our trip. We asked for late check out, and he agreed to it letting us know there was a cost associated - we agreed and still wanted the late check out. I called the morning we were leaving and there was no record of the request. The front desk said they’d call us back to verify with their manager if the late check out was allowed but we never heard back and ended up leaving at the regular checkout.  My family was also staying at the resort and reported numerous cockroach sightings in their room. Obviously that was not ideal but there wasn't much the front desk could do for them. Our interactions with the staff at the restaurants, bars, pools, and housekeeping were all very positive but other than that, there weren't' too many highlights.

Great week. I would love to come back. My 2 teen daughters are celiac (gluten free) and Kayla (and Gil) really look after them with their food. Gluten free waffles and pancakes every morning. Regarding entertainment Coco Channel was great!

"Above and Beyond!"

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Iberostar Coral Bávaro – one of the best family vacations we've ever had! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine smiles. The entire team was always one step ahead, making sure we felt comfortable, relaxed, and cared for. The atmosphere was both fun and welcoming, with staff going the extra mile every day to ensure we had a great experience. The facilities are spotless and beautiful – the rooms are spacious and modern, the gym is well-equipped, and the restaurants offer a great variety of delicious food. We would especially like to thank Keila, chef at El Faro, who went out of her way to prepare food for our baby – even on her days off. That level of dedication and heart is something we will never forget. This resort is a true example of excellent hospitality. We felt not just like guests, but like family. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to return! Thank you, Iberostar Coral Bávaro!
